Festival Highlights

Victoria was born on December 1st, 1998 and went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 12, 2017. During her 18 years of life, Victoria was a very compassionate, caring, loving, and hard working young lady, who had earned a full ride scholarship to Saint Mary’s University in Winona Minnesota, and had dreams of becoming a surgeon in the trauma unit. The Victoria Teresa Arias Memorial Foundation hopes to keep her memory and legacy alive by helping others and to empower students to further their education with college scholarships. Victoria was a violinist for Mariachi Los Changuitos Feos and performed at the first two Bisbee Mariachi Festivals. Victoria was determined to become a surgeon and help save lives. Although she wasn’t able to go to school and actually become a surgeon, she was still able to save lives through her organ donation. Three people in Arizona and one in California, who we pray for, have the opportunity to live healthy lives now because of Victoria’s gifts. On behalf of the Bisbee Mariachi Festival, we honor Victoria. One of her favorite things to say to others is.. ChooseHappy. Please visit her parents Mike and Lorena Arias who will have a booth at our festival supporting her foundation.  https://victoriateresaariasmemorialfoundation.org
